This week we are going to break down Jessica Biel's new color. Thoughts, opinions, etc!
Tis the season to be brown right?
So lets start with my thoughts.
Personally, for me it's just a tad to dark. I think on her I would have loved to see a level lighter.
With that said, I would like to state that I am quite the fan of this color. I think it's a beautiful fall color and I love the concept of keeping the subtle dimension underneath.
Oooooober trendy in a subtle way and I am cool with that.
You know getting back to my opinion... as I am writing this I am looking back at her with this color and I know what would make me love this on her! It's the brows. Give her a darker or stronger brow and I am all in for this shade on her!
So enough with the fuss right? Lets get on with it. And of course this is my concept/opinion of the formula, I would love to hear yours as well!
Formula:
Looking at this shade I see a lot of depth and a lot of background. Not quite as much tonality to this shade. The process of filling is a non factor if formulated properly and working with two formulas - The top and bottom sections.
Lets start with the formula on top - Level 3N (Neutral) and equal parts Level 4G (Gold Brown) of your favorite Demi based permanent hair color.
Now the highlighted areas - Level 5G (Gold Brown) and equal parts Level 4WG (Warmest Gold Brown - yellow/orange tone)
What do you think?
Good call on the brows. It would totally make it all come together. What color line do you use?
